Missionaries learn to work in all kinds of weather. While we expect our missionaries to use common sense in bad weather to stay safe, we also have certain protocols in place for situations such as hurricanes or tornados. All missionaries have a 72 Hour Kit.
Our meeting houses are constructed out of brick and are built to withstand 200 mph winds. These buildings truly are a refuge from the storm and are the right place to be when a dangerous storm hits. We can communicate with each missionary quickly and will advise them when necessary. Our full-time job is to look out for the well-being of each one of these valiant servants.
